Bookstore and library staff are often asked whether their old books have any monetary or collectible value.
One of the best local sources for these questions is Annette Kolling-Buckley, owner of Columbia Books, an antiquarian bookstore now celebrating its 45th year in business. Annette is one of only three Missouri members of the prestigious Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America. She regularly does assessments for libraries and businesses throughout the state, and her appraisals are accepted for tax purposes. Bring one or two books for her appraisal during this program.
