Council for Drug-Free Youth and Jefferson City Police Department are teaming up to host the annual DEA’s National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 am – 2 pm at the Jefferson City Police Department in the alleyway behind the building for drive-thru convenience. Together, they’re encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting. This event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs. For more info, call 573-636-2411 or visit jccdfy.org/dea-drug-take-back-day.
